In 1517, the new concept of forming religions based on the individual's interpretation of the Bible was born with Martin Luther. The result of this break from the Catholic Church by Luther has been utter confusion among Christians, for there are now over 33,800 different Protestant religions, with several new ones being formed next week. Each interpret the Bible differently and feel that they are guided by the Spirit when they do so. Clearly it is impossible for this chaos to have come from God. The only solution is a return to the Church which existed before the Bible, compiled the books contained in it, and has always authoritatively given its proper interpretation, the Catholic Church.
